What BrewBean is

BrewBean is a personal specialty coffee logbook. It is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. It is developed and operated by Marcos Perez, in Argentina. Contact: brewbeancoffe@gmail.com.

Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to that account. You can delete your account and all its content at any time from the app, as explained in the privacy policy.

Your content

Everything you put into BrewBean (beans, recipes, brews, tastings, photos) is yours. We claim no rights over your content; we only store and sync it to provide the service. You can export all of it whenever you want.

Do not upload content you have no right to use, or illegal content. If you do, we may remove it and close the account.

Measurements and calculations

BrewBean's tools (micron ruler, extraction calculator, calibration curves, rest estimates) are reference aids, not certified measuring instruments. The micron ruler is an approximate visual comparison. Use the results with judgment.

Availability

BrewBean works offline and syncs when there is a connection. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or failures. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the preservation of data you have not exported.

Limitation of liability

BrewBean is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for losses arising from the use of the app or the inability to use it.

Changes

We may modify these terms or the app. If the change is relevant, we announce it inside the app and update the date in the header. If you keep using BrewBean after the change, you accept the current terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute is resolved before the courts of the City of Buenos Aires.
